A rowerzyści znajdą dla siebie setki kilometrów malowniczych tras, jak asfaltowych, tak i MTB.
Cycling routes are located on the slopes of Gryglówka and Nartorama -
The routes are available during the working hours of the Gryglówka and Nartorama railways, which will take cyclists to the mountain. Bicycle rentals, bicycle service and snack bars are available directly by the railway.
In Zieleniec there are four Singletrack loops (Orlicka, Sołtysia, Widoków and Gajów loops), which can be used to get to the observation tower on Orlicy or to Dusznik Zdrój. They are part of the cycle routes located throughout the Kłodzko Region as part of the Singletrack Glacensis project. It consists of 23 loops of varying difficulty and one two-way section. The total length of all loops is 260 km, which in practice allows you to visit this unique corner of Poland from the seat of a bicycle.
All sections of Singletrack Glacensis have been designed and prepared so that everyone, regardless of form or age, can safely use the available routes.
In the surroundings of Zieleniec, road cycling enthusiasts have at their disposal hundreds of kilometers of mountain, picturesquely located asphalt roads ideal for “road trips”. Here you will find something for less experienced cyclists and much more demanding, who expect from the route a large number of flight, mountain, but above all - scenic bonuses.
All this makes Zieleniec an excellent base for mountain bikers. It is also evidenced by the fact that its climatic qualities as well as those related to the terrain have long been appreciated, among others, by Polish representatives, including Maja Włoszczowska, who honed her form here before the Olympics in Beijing in 2008 where she won a silver medal.
The Orlickie and Bystrzyckie Mountains are an ideal place for all lovers of MTB bikes. When planning bike trips, it really only depends on us which mountain range we choose. Each of them is different, each has something unique to offer, but what unites them is the fact that they are perfect for mountain, family escapades.
What is worth emphasizing MTB has permanently entered the image of Zieleniec. In the past, the Lower Silesian MTB Championship, the so-called Artur Filipiak Memorial (Fish) and Bike Marathon - the largest cycle of MTB marathons in Poland, were held here.
Zieleniec and its surroundings are a true paradise when it comes to mountain trips and longer escapades. Taking our resort as a starting point, we have tens of kilometers of trails in the Orlice, Bystrzyckie or Stołowe Mountains to choose from. It is worth adding that mountain tourism can be practiced in these areas all year round, but with due and appropriate caution for each season. Although this part of the Central Sudetenland is not one of the highest, they have exactly the same rules of movement as in the upper Sudeten ranges.
The following suggestions are, of course, the routes closest to our center.
