Zieleniec Sport Arena to jeden z największych i najlepszych w Polsce ośrodków narciarskich, którego historia sięga przełomu XIX i XX wieku. Dziś do Zieleńca przyjeżdżają pasjonaci białego szaleństwa nie tylko z całej Polski, ale i sąsiednich Czech czy Niemiec, a sam ośrodek jest regularnie nagradzany w rozmaitych plebiscytach i konkursach.
Location
The ski resort owes its popularity primarily to its unique location. Inscribed between the peaks of the Orlickie and Bystrzyckie mountains and lying at an altitude of 800-960 meters, it is one of the most beautiful places of this type in Poland. An additional attraction of the resort is the beautiful views, which provide an unforgettable experience at any time of the year.
Microclimate and ski season
One of the most important advantages and distinguishing factor of Zieleniec on the map of ski resorts in Poland is its specific microclimate, similar to the Alpine. Its uniqueness is associated with the unique on a regional scale pressure system of air masses, due to which the human body produces an increased number of red blood cells. And this improves our well-being, allows us to recover faster and rest more effectively.
Kolejnym atutem ośrodka związanym z wyjątkowym jego położeniem oraz unikalnym klimatem są warunki narciarskie. Duża ilość opadów (1300 mm w ciągu roku z czego 40% przypada na okres od listopada do marca) sprawiają, że śnieg leży tu blisko przez 150 dni w roku. Jeśli więc zima przychodzi na przełomie listopada i grudnia, to zwykle można jeździć w Zieleńcu jeszcze nawet w trakcie wielkanocnych świąt.
Attractions, parties events
Zieleniec Sport Arena is a lively station throughout the ski season. The solemn opening of the season itself, which usually takes place in early December, is usually celebrated with great fanfare. Here one or two caveats are important — it all depends, of course, on the aura prevailing in Zieleniec. There is also good news — often some extracts are launched even earlier. The resort always prepares full equipment readiness for the second half of November and as soon as the temperature permanently freezes below zero, snow cannons are launched at full steam.
Every year Zieleniec Sport Arena invites you to spend Christmas and New Year's Eve in the resort. Numerous attractions, accompanying events, the shepherdess, concerts of highlander bands, joint caroling and feasting and of course, late evening (and in the case of New Year's Eve even at night) — all this is guaranteed by Zieleniec, providing of course an unusual atmosphere, which is really in vain to look for in most places in Poland. We should also add that it is becoming more and more popular in Zieleniec to spend Easter holidays, during which there are still excellent skiing conditions.

Not just a ski station
Zieleniec is also an excellent place to relax all year round, especially for families with young children and a great base for other interesting places of the Kłodzka Valley. The Orlice and Bystrzyckie Mountains are perfect for all-day hikes, which will certainly not be too much of a challenge even for the youngest.
